RP Experience (other HP characters?): I have played many characters in the role-play world, mainly Harry Potter. He has brown hair that is starting to gray slightly, but it is still rich and thick and doesn’t appear to be thin in any area. He doesn’t have a beard and shaves often, preferring the “clean” look.
Height:
George is about 5’8’’ in height. He considers himself “average” height-wise but sometimes he finds that he’s a bit taller than most of his friends.
Weight:
George is average in weight as he works out regularly. He loves running and will run a few miles every day just to keep healthy. He has an excellent rate of metabolism and can usually eat as much as he likes without gaining weight. He hates being lazy and is always doing something productive.
Build: George is muscular and strong, and looks like he is very atheltic. In reality though he sits on the couch as much as anyone. ;D
Distinguishing Characteristics:
George doesn't have many scars or any tatoos, but anyone that has been close enough to him will say that he smells of peppermint, as he carries them around in his pocket.
Description of Appearance:
George is very muscular and tanned from being outside a lot. He has a small scar on his chin caused from falling off a bicycle when he was younger. Also, he loves Peppermint and carries them around in his pockets and usually smells like Peppermint.
Personality
Likes:
- Reading the newspaper, preferably the Quibbler, but he has been known to read the Muggle newspapers too( he hates the Daily Prophet).
- George loves music, especially the classics.
- He enjoys children, well practically adores them and has always wanted kids.
- He loves having tea at certain times in the day.
- He most definitely has a sweet tooth, especially peppermint.
- His favorite past time is reading, he can spend hours reading if he is allowed.
- History is one of his passions he is in his own way, a philosopher of sorts.
- Since he is a guy he is very tempted by beautiful women, but he is in no way a “womanizer”, especially since his late wife passed away recently.
Dislikes:
- Voldemort
- Death Eaters
- Evilness
- He isn’t a fan of mushrooms or lima beans, but he will eat them when in the later stages of starvation.
Strengths:
- Public Speaking
- Romancing women
- Caring for children
- Leadership
Weaknesses:
- Potions
- He finds he has trouble saying "no" in certain situations, especially when it comes to his 2 year old daughter.
- He is generally kind even when people deserve a good beating. Sometimes he is also naiive, but he's smart enough to recognize his own weaknesses.
Talents: George has a knack for public speaking and romancing women. Most of the time he does not go searching for female companionship, but they tend to flock to him and sometimes he feels like he has to beat them off with a stick, quite literally. He likes being single, but that doesn't mean that if the right person showed up he wouldn't fall for her easily. He of course, uses his public speaking talents to gain the attention of a crowd. It was one of the reasons why he was chosen as Minister of Magic.
Whims/Habits:
[/li][li] Making romantic comments without meaning too.
[/li][li] Jingling coins in his pocket.
[/li][li] Biting his nails.
What form would your Boggart take?: George is not really afraid of anything, other than loosing is daughter. His boggart would show his daughter's grave, and it would most likely petrify him until he realized it wasn't real, but just a Boggart.
What would Amortentia (love potion) smell like to you?: George has always loved the smells of blossoming flowers. He can't seem to get enough of their alluring scent, and if he spots one his first impulse is to smell it.
Description of personality:
George is usually a very happy person, and enjoys being around people. He also loves children and spends a great deal of time with his infant daughter, Emily. George is one of those “old-fashioned” types. He’s a gentleman in every way and does it without complaining. He is always there to open doors for the ladies or help an elderly woman walk across the street. The first thing that people say when describing George is that he is loving and generous and considers others before himself.
There are only a few things that make him angry. He despises people that take advantage of others and will stick up for the “under-dog” in any given situation. He is not afraid to stand up for his beliefs and he supports those whom he considers his friends. When his wife died, his character changed somewhat, which is all but natural. The life in him seems to have been squished, and the sparkle in his blue eyes is no longer there. He is not always the happiest person to be around, but he does make an effort to have a positive outlook on things.
He has a heart for helping others which is what drove him to write his book. He is somewhat of a philosopher, and enjoys a good debate at any time over any subject. His favorite thing to chat about is current events, but he also knows that history and the past is something to be remembered. He also doesn’t take things for granted and lives each moment as if it were his last. Because he loves to read he has a well developed imagination and it is recognizable, as he describes things extremely well. He is a romantic at heart and because of this women find him attractive, even though he does not go looking for romance. Romance in general is a very touchy subject, especially since he is still getting over the death of his wife, Hannah.
History
Parents (name and blood): Mark and Anna Miller (pure blood)
Siblings: None
Any other significant relatives: His wife Hannah(deceased) and his 2 yeard old daughter, Emily (still living).
Biography
George Anthony Miller was born on December 25th, 1931 to his parents Mark and Anna Miller. He was an only child, but his parents did not spoil him, as they believed that bringing up spoiled children can ruin them. For that he is grateful, as he doesn’t take things for granted and he is a very independent person. His family didn’t have much money, but they were happy. His mother taught him at home before he went to Hogwarts, as she didn’t think that sending him to a Muggle school was very wise since he was already showing signs of magical capabilities in his youth.
His family was well-known but they weren't by any means wealthy. They did live comfortably. George grew up knowing that money wasn't the thing that made a person happy; it was family and friends that kept someone going in difficult times. Because of this, George was never spoiled and always treated others kindly, even though in his youth he did have a few enemies that annoyed him; but all kids do. The family was always well-respected by others in the community, even though they did not have the money that other, more popular wizarding families had.
For a while, he and his wife, Hannah, lived in a small cottage on the outskirts of London. After they had been married for about fifteen years she started to show signs of extreme sickness. George took her to St. Mungo’s, and they discovered that she had developed Lukemia. They tried all the treatments that St. Mungo had to offer, but her sickness was incureable. Out of desperation George took her to a Muggle hospital but by this time her cancer was already in the later stages of development. To top it off, they later found out that Hannah was pregnant and she was able to go through a rushed delivery of a baby girl moments before she died. After her death, George became reclusive and stayed at home. He didn’t go out as he used to and he stopped eating. He was even suicidal at a certain point until one of his friends that he worked with helped him through it.
He finally realized that his daughter needed him, and so he pulled himself up and out of his depression. The only way that he managed to move forward was because he knew that he had to take care of his daughter. It was a struggle for him, because in the midst of his depression and mourning for his wife, he was trying to take care of an infant. As most parents are beginners in child care, so was he. With his parents no longer alive, he really did not have anyone to turn to.
George then decided to write his book which he titled “The Day I lost my Life.” He poured his heart and soul into the work and it was later published. Every time someone asks him why he wrote such an inspirational book, he claims that he just wanted to help people cope with death so that they wouldn’t feel lost and alone like he had. After George wrote his book, he was offered the position of Minister of Magic. At first, he turned it down, but after many of his fans and people at the Ministry insured him that he was the man for the job, he finally took it.
Relationship History:
George doesn't really have very many relationships. He was very close to his parents both of which are dead. He has two other siblings that he keeps in touch with, but does not visit often because they live far away. His only main relationship at the moment is with his daughter, Emily. He has a few friends that he would consider acquaintences, but none of them are actually true friends.
The other obvious relationships are the fans that have read his book, and of course people that he works with at the Ministry. In the future he will meet Maria Sanchez, a professor at Hogwarts, and the two will later become a little more than just friends. Maria develops a liking for his daughter, Emily, and later ends up getting to know George on a more personal level.
